SL23B Volunteer Applications Are Now Open!

Book the date- I'm sorry. On June 23, Second Life turns 23. The 23rd annual Second Life anniversary celebration (SL23B) will take place in 18 June to 19 July 2026. Prepare for a whole month of live music, performances, community exhibitions and celebrations throughout the grid.

This year's theme is The Golden Age of Hollywood. Think of classic cinema, red carpets, vintage glamour and the magic of the silver screen.

Volunteers are being sought to help bring life to the celebration. SL23B volunteers play an important role in welcoming visitors, assisting with events and helping guests explore the birthday regions.

Residents are being sought with strong interpersonal skills, patience and enthusiasm to share the best of Second Life with others. Volunteers help answer questions, guide visitors through the celebration regions and support the many activities that take place throughout the event.

If someone likes to help others and wants to be part of the team that makes SL23B work smoothly, it is encouraged to send a volunteer application by 18 May 2026.

In the next few weeks, Keep an eye on the blog for more opportunities to participate in the celebrations of SL23B as creator.
