SL23B Exhibitor and Performer Applications Are Now Open!

Book the date! On June 23, Second Life turns 23. The 23rd annual Second Life anniversary celebration (SL23B) will take place from 18 June to 19 July 2026. Prepare for a whole month of live music, performances, community exhibitions and celebrations throughout the grid. This year's theme is The Golden Age of Hollywood. Think of classic cinema, red carpets, vintage glamour and the magic of the silver screen.

Although the theme can inspire many constructions and performances, the exhibitions do not need to follow the theme. It is encouraged that participants share what makes their Second Life experiences meaningful. The interests, communities and creativity of each one are welcome. Every year, the celebration takes place because of the incredible Residents who bring life to this world. Birthday celebrations are an opportunity to show what inspires and what makes the participants come back.

Registration for Displays

Residents from all over the community are being invited to create non-commercial exhibitions that reflect the depth and diversity of Second Life. From art and roleplay to communities, nonprofit organizations and interactive experiences, exhibitions highlight the many ways people connect and create together.

For traders interested in participating in SL23B Shop and Hop, this registration will be available at the end of April. As in previous years, two types of regions for exhibitors will be available:

• Regions with general classification
• Regions with Adult classification

To participate as an exhibitor in SL23B, the registration must be sent by 18 May 2026.

Registration for Performers

Performances are an important part of SL's anniversary celebrations, bringing energy and entertainment to the stage throughout the event. A wide range of performers are being sought to join the festivities. DJs, live musicians, singers, dance groups, theater groups, particle performers, speakers, workshop hosts and community storytellers are all welcome to sign up.

Performances help create the vibrant atmosphere that makes birthday celebration memorable for visitors from all over the world. Although all interested performers are encouraged to sign up, this does not guarantee a space. All registrations will be reviewed and accepted performers will be invited to book a performance schedule by means of a virtual world tracking note for the user name of the provided SL. Performers will be scheduled in the order they sign up. To present at SL23B, the registration must be sent by 18 May 2026.

Over the coming months, it is recommended to stay alert to the blog for additional opportunities to participate in SL23B celebrations, including registrations for volunteers and traders. The expectation is great to celebrate 23 years of Second Life!
