In virtual we have opportunities to make a difference and contribute to projects that aggregate to the Second LIF universe.

We have as an example the QUAREL KID, a magical place that cares for “ children” of SL to have a magical experience with learning, fun and much love. The work developed at SCHOLINE AQUERELA is fantastic, a broad environment that offers more than learning, having a team trained to provide an immersion in the magic of ‘Watercolor’.

Knowing the QUAREL SCHOOL

The Watercolinha is an educational and recreational pioneering project, established within the secondlife metaverse. Focused on the children's audience (represented by animesh babies from Zooby store), the school combines playful with social learning. It is a space of coexistence where imagination is the main tool, allowing children to learn rules of coexistence, develop creativity and participate in activities that simulate the real school environment with a touch of digital magic experienced by the RP(Roley Play).

The Aquarela school came from Pedagogue Luana Pugliesi's dream of doing a volunteer job within the SL to help families who like to simulate a complete domestic life within this metaverse. And so the dream was realized within a structured space for the family PR.

With three years of existence, the school is maintained by a dedicated team that understands the nuances of virtual life:

Director: Responsible for land management, partnerships and pedagogical guidelines.

Teachers and Educators: Experts in creating dynamics, telling stories and mediating group activities.

Event Coordinators: Organize the thematic parties, graduations and tours.

The Escolinha team is centrally managed by a single creative mind, which operates through three specialized avatars to ensure the best support. She centered the operation that way to facilitate logistics. A team of three but only one heart beating behind the screen. Her name is Luana Pugliesi. If you talk to any of them, you'll be talking to her.

Thematic classes: Playful literacy, arts, music and virtual "sciences".

Extracurricular Activities: Workshops of painting, swimming and children's cooking.

Social Events: Birthday parties, seasonal celebrations (Pascoa, Festa Junina, Natal) and campings.

Daycare: nursery for newborns

Why put a little school together in secondlife?

Accessibility: Children from anywhere in the world (through their parents) can interact.

Cost and Creativity: It is possible to build castles, spaceships or magical gardens for a class without the astronomical costs of a physical construction.

The importance of this work

This job goes beyond just entertainment. It fights virtual loneliness and promotes socialization. For many users who interpret children in SL, the school offers a sense of belonging and a healthy routine, helping in the development of communication skills and in the creation of affective bonds within the community.

It's worth it because the return is not financial, but in community. Seeing the evolution of a virtual child, the joy and satisfaction of parents and the strengthening of friendships that cross the screen is extremely gratifying. It is a resilient niche that values care and dedication.

We have a total of 234 children in the school today.

The Watercolinha has an extremely complete and well thought-out structure, focused on the child's integral development through playful and direct contact with nature. The disposition of spaces suggests a balance between formal learning, physical activities and sensory exploration.

Pour, Greenhouse and Mini Garden: Allow students to follow the life cycle of plants, from seed to harvest, stimulating patience and responsibility.

Mini Zoo: It offers a valuable opportunity for interaction with animals, developing empathy and care for living beings.

Physical Activities and Recreation

Movement is essential for energy expenditure and motor coordination:

Playground and Patio Central: These are the social meeting points, where the free play happens.

Pool and Football Field: Structured sports spaces that aim at teamwork, discipline and physical development.

Learning and Creativity Spaces

Where academic and artistic knowledge is built:

Classroom: The environment focused on literacy and fundamental concepts.

Art and Games Room: A flexible space for creative expression and logical reasoning through play.

Wellness and Rest

Rest Room: Essential for the emotional balance of the child. After so many external activities and stimuli, a space of calm allows the student to process what he has learned and recover the energies.

The structure of the school was planned so that the child was not limited to the closed environment of a room, using the entire external space as an extension of learning. It's an environment that invites constant discovery.
